You have to do what you’re feeling you should do. If it’s that expensive are you really going to use it or protect it. There are many great Bibles out there and you have other beautiful bags that you love and will use. So, did you pray about it. Use that answer to do what you are led to do. If it doesn’t feel right keeping it, you definitely need to listen and send it back. I love that Bible too but I’d be afraid I’d scratch it. I think you are making a wise decision. ❤️

If it were me, and I am not a wealthy person, I would use what you have. I love that Bible but, a Bible is a Bible. I'm retired now. The important thing is reading the Bible....any one that is the version you are comfortable with. We can so easily get tempted by beautiful things....but it's not what is important.

One thing that I am finding extremely hurtful and unbelievable is the sense of joy that some are experiencing due to the pain and anguish of others.... There is something very wrong when people's hearts are filled with hate for others but then call themselves Christians.

Boy have I been there this last yr. Both my children have been diagnosed with serious conditions. My daughter went through Cancer this past yr. My son, who has autism already, has been diagnosed with epilepsy. It has been just too much for me. I have had a crisis of faith. I can't say I'm not going through that now. I am. I'm trying to keep the faith, but honestly....I'm struggling. I feel like it has been hard enough these past yrs...and now more.

He wants us to call upon Him for help. Have Faith. Love this Beth!

Beth, I got 3 Brahmins for Christmas. A Carolina and Hallie, both Tuscan Collection, and a large Finley, Contour, Melbourne collection. I have been collecting Brahmins for 25 years. I have a total of 12 now and I’m good. It’s a good completion number. 😊 I only have Brahmins. No other brand. I’m 58 now. I’m no leather expert, but I recognized early, these were excellent quality. Embossed, Italian leather. Twenty five years ago, Louis Vuitton and Coach were less expensive to buy, but I couldn’t bring myself to buy them. They felt cheap in “quality.” You could feel them and tell the difference. Brahmins knock your socks off. Have you seen Tanner Leatherstein on RUclips ripping apart a handbag? He has good things to say about Brahmins. Some of mine are so old, they are vintage now. Fortunately, there’s a lot more manufacturers making excellent quality leather goods now, so there’s many to choose from. I’ll buy a Strathberry over a LV any day! Do you remember Etienne Aigner? When I was 14 years old, I was in love with those! Funny how we don’t change much our whole lives! 😂 I, for one, would like to see your entire collection. You are a joy to watch. Whatever you want to talk about. I like you and I’m sure if we were neighbors or co-workers, we’d be friends. IMO, keep the Bible if you want. You work hard. If it makes you happy, keep it. God knows there’s worse things to spend money on. I think we have all bought stuff as an escape and retail therapy after the hell of this world; Due to Covid and the last 4 years. An awesome smelling new leather bag, perfume, skin care or makeup…God understands!! As for the Cami Brahmin bag. Do you know how many times I passed up buying a style that years later, I regretted? So many! I love it. Yes. Jesus is coming soon, as the old gospel hymn says. Even pagans can feel it. I think time is short. There’s never been a time in history where things were this morally dismal, on a global scale, and declining rapidly. It’s been incredible to watch. Our kids and grandkids, (millennials and younger generations) have NO IDEA what a completely different world we grew up in. The America we knew is gone. Sure there was corruption and evil. As we are about to find out with the JFK files release. But the corruption was covered up. Now it’s in your face…and they don’t care. God bless you, Beth. I’ll meet you in the clouds. ❤

I don't save my good jewellery for special occasions anymore nor do I save my very best china or anything else for that reason. I use EVERYTHING everyday. because EVERYDAY is a special occasion. That's all we have is today so if I want to bling out from morning to night....that is what I do:) When my Mom passed away years ago now seeing all the things she packed away and never used, I decided to use things I loved whenever I wanted and I do otherwise why have them?
